Antique still life oil painting of fish, herrings most likely on newspaper signed in the lower left W. Van Meeteren.  Deep russets and soft silvers depict the fish and thoses colours are slendidly echoed by the large wood veneer frame.

Condition:  The painting appears to be in good condition, some craquelure no other noticable defects.  The frame is slightly damaged at the corners bottom left and top right and has imperfections throughout such as indentations and scratches.
