Signed intimate vintage post impessionist ballerina interior scene by French artist Reine Virely-Colmez, signed in the bottom right corner.  This exceptional oil painting on canvas is quite stunning.  A ballerina sits at a high desk writing a letter her back to the artist.  She wears a blue and pink ruffled dress, cleverly painted by the artist who has added other items of interest for the viewer.

Signed: Reine Virely Calmez (1936-1979)  Reine was born in Nancy, France.  She was a painter of women and interior scenes, tragically she lived a very short life.
