Stunning antique oil painting of an interior scene with a woman in her boudoir by French artist, Constantin Font (1890-1954).  A woman fixes her hair, skillfully reflected in the mirror.  She is most likely in her dressing gown, the colours are quite beautiful and really do display a feeling of the Orientalist painter that Constantin was.   An old wood chair sits in front of a carved heavy oak dressing table, carefully laid out with brushes, makeup and perfumes belonging to the owner.  While the chair behind the subject is draped with clothes to wear.  This painting is clearly signed at the top.  In all a truly captivating painting.....

Provenance: France.  
Condition:  The painting is very good antique condition, however you should expect imperfections, nothing onerous.  There are two small patches at the back of the painting.  The frame is later, vintage, again in good vintage condition, but expect wear and tear commensurate with age.
