19th Century French portrait of a young man.  This precious jewel of a portrait is undeniably attractive.  It's an oil on stretched canvas which is smooth to the touch.  Painted in the 1800's in the style of the 1700's. A young man in a torquoise blue coat with gold trim stands with his arms folded and looks direct at the artist.  Very charming! It's traditional French school and blends with the gold of the frame....

Condition: This painting is in good condition for the age.  It's not without faults, some craquelure and old renovations but they are minimal.  It's in a gold leaf and stucco frame with losses and indentations etc.
