Rustic maritime oil painting from the 1940's of the Brittany coastline in France, signed and dated in the bottom right corner.  This pretty coastal painting depicts the Brittany coastline very accurately with the grey slated roofs and rugged coastline which is echoed in the finish the artist has given to this painting as the board has texture to the touch.  A little boat sails along in the front of the painting, while little boats bob about in the harbour.
