Stunningly beautiful antique oil portrait of a young girl from French artist Fanny Fleury (1848-1920). A wonderful depiction of a young girl with a red scarf, choker and white blouse.  Totally convincing, deep and atmospheric painting from a female French master (pictured above) who studied at the École des Beaux-Arts as a student of Carolus-Duran (1837-1917), where she was a classmate of John Singer Sargent (1856-1925).

Condition: This painting is in overall good antique condition, but expect imperfections associated with age, such as markings at the right of the frame and craquelure throughout. The frame is later, vintage, possibly 1950's, expect renovations,missing paint, wear and tear associated with age and nails at the corners.
