Mid-century impressionist portrait of a woman in a brown dress and cream lace collar. It's signed and dated in the lower left corner. It's an unusual painting in it's simplicity, the woman who has blue grey eyes and short strawberry blond hair looks at the artist with a whisper of a smile. It's one of those paintings that would look incredible next to some dark furniture....

Condition: The painting is good vintage condition, however you should expect imperfections, particularly markings around the edges of the canvas, these could be hidden by a frame.
Signed: Paul August Perrelet (1872-1965) Paul was a Swiss artist. In 1892 he started studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Genève, where he won all the first prizes.
