Antique French female oil portrait from the 1830's.  This is an unusual portrait.  Here, perhaps this portrait tells of the coming of age, her evolution into a woman, signified by the virginal white as opposed to the menstrual red.  At any rate, this is a well painted portrait, the detail on the broderie anglais is quite exceptional, it would do well in a frame of your choice.
