Shabby antique oil painting on canvas from the 1800's in a gold coloured frame.   Very pretty and also very shabby, see the condition of the painting below.  This lovely old painting is signed in the lower right corner.  It has plenty of character and is exquisitely painted.  The artist has left a delicate touch to a relatively smooth canvas with some texture to the touch.

Provenance: France.  
Condition:  This painting has suffered with the passage of  time.  The canvas is worn and there are losses of paint throughout, tiny holes, a couple of renovations on the back of the canvas, but it is incredibly authentic and especially delightful as its state echoes the delicateness of the flowers.  The frame is vintage but much more recent, expect wear and tear associated with age.  However, the whole comes together very nicely, the canvas is safely housed within the frame ready for its next 120 years!
