Vintage oil on canvas of a shrub in flower, maybe a lilac by French artist Saint-Alban.  It's from the 1970's and in its original attractive frame.  The canvas is raised to the touch with varied purple, green and lilac hues thickened with impasto.  Its signed in the lower right corner.
