Very attractive post-impressionist French still life painting in an old gold stucco wood frame.  This delightful still life of a brioche, a vase of flowers, an orange and cup and saucer has lots of detail.
The canvas is relatively smooth throughout and the artist has built interest by layering dashes of paint throughout.   Hues are bright and cheerful.

Condition: The canvas is in very good vintage condition.  The frame is much older and it has suffered the traces of time with losses of moulding, indentations, visible nails and tiny movement at the corners but is still very attractive.  The whole comes together quite well...
