Antique French impressionist landscape oil painting on thick board in an attractive frame by French artist, Léonce Pelletier (1869-1950).  This is a painting of a view towards a farmhouse and it's garden. 
Signed in the lower right corner and dated August 1923. The surface of the painting is slightly textured and colour rich.

Date: 1923

Signed:  Léonce Pelletier (1869-1950).  Léonce attended the École des Beaux-arts in Dijon with fellow students such as Lippe, Bonotte and Bouchardd. His reputation enabled him to move to Paris and join Gustave Moreau's studio, where his fellow students included Edgar Maxence and Matisse. He was appointed professor at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Nice in 1904 and director of the municipal drawing school in 1909. He died in Nice.

Condition report:  This is a well presented oil painting  on thick board.  The painted surface is in good condition but you should expect imperfections associated with age.  The frame is also vintage, in good condition but again expect imperfections/wear and tear throughout associated with age.
