Vintage impressionist landscape oil painting on thick card, dated on the back, August 1923 where there is also a description by the artist on the subject.  It's in its original frame.  It's a street scene with a woman and her dog.  A small lane possibly on the out skirts of a French village, flanked by grey walls.  Your eye is drawn down the land towards the houses.    Vigorous thickly applied brushstrokes dance around this little painting animating it and adding plenty of texture to the touch.
