Vintage post impressionist oil painting on stretched canvas signed by the artist in the lower left corner, Verner.  A bright and cheerful painting with splashes of colour and a delightful array of varing hues. 
Here, the artist has crafted a study of a market, vide-grenier or garden party.  It's busy and incredibly animated, with movement flowing across the canvas and added impasto enfored highlights giving texture to the touch and added interest for the eye.  The autumnal colours radiate from the canvas and there is such a lot going on that at each glance you notice somethig different.
