Vintage impressionist oil portrait painting of a young woman by Pio Santini (1908-1986), signed bottom right.  A textured oil on canvas with vigorous impasto enforced  brush and knife strokes that give excellent depth and a sense of volume. The combination of brush and knife adds depth and interest with neutral hues of browns, greens and creams.  Her face is carved with a myriad of pink and beige to stunning effect as she looks slightly downwards in a demure fashion.
