Large vintage French feminist interior scene by Alphonse Antoine Rodet (1890-1975), signed in the upper left corner.  This is a large and interesting art deco painting, is full of colour and life, with lots to see and it's very detailed.  Here, the artist has captured the possessions of a woman strewn about on a table.  A colourful and intricate throw or perhaps a scarf, a curtain tie long white gloves, glasses, a book, paintings, including a male portrait and a vanity mirror, all displayed with an art deco wallpaper in the background.  There is a lot of detail with purposeful strokes and raised impasto enforced oils and bright hues.  The detail in the throw is amazing, only from a talented artist!  Plenty to feast your eyes upon...
