Large vintage oil painting by French artist Franck Innocent (1912-1983) signed and dated in the original heavy frame.  This post impressionist oil painting is cleverly crafted with impasto thickened oils, elevated from the canvas to create animated interest from inanimate objects.  The colours are bright and cheerful, the background hues of blues and greys would blend in very well with today's colour schemes and the painting would sit nicely in a kitchen or dining area.  The clay pot provides grounding in this painting, but the eye is taken towards the pomegranates and figs, delicious fruit in delicious deep hues.  The artist has added a small floral to complete this composition.
