French landscape impressionist oil painting on canvas from the 1930's by Louis Jean Beaupuy (1896-1974). A very attractive riverscape with wonderful colours by a reknown French artist. Trees line a riverbank and are reflected in the water which gives this painting a calm persona. The colours are true to life and lively. It's on a thick stretched canvas and could do with a nice frame!
