French landscape impressionist oil painting on canvas from the 1930's by Louis Jean Beaupuy (1896-1974).  A very attractive riverscape with wonderful colours by a reknown French artist.  Trees line a riverbank and are reflected in the water which gives this painting a calm persona.  The colours are true to life and lively.  It's on a thick stretched canvas and could do with a nice frame!

Medium: Oil on stretched canvas

Overall size: 18ins x 13ins or 46cms x 33cms

Date: 1930's

Condition: The painting is in a fair condition.  There is craquelure throughout, raised areas of paint and renovations.  The appearance is good, however this painting needs the safe haven of a frame.
