An atmospheric old piece of the Welsh countryside, with rolling hills in authentic countryside tones.  Here, Clinton Jones has used a light, illuminating palette.  Two figures sit at the side of the field after mowing the hay, looking out to the Welsh valleys beyond.  An attractive animated canvas with texture to the touch in the fore.

Condition:  The painting is in good stable condition.  However, you should expect imperfections relevant to age.  These are minor areas of missing paint. small renovations and craquelure.  The frame looks to be the original and again has minor imperfections and slightly loose moulding that may become worse in transit.
