RESERVED!! Please do not buy!! Amazing still life painting by French artist, Andre Verdilhan (1881 - 1963). It's an oil on thick card of a basket of fruit/vegetables from the garden, the ingredients to make French Ratatouille! A composition of beans, aubergene and tomatoes sit snugly in a basket, bathed in early morning sunshine and you can almost smell the delicious ripeness of an impending ratatouille! It's clever, the colours are not faded by time, but not overbearing, the whole is a very attractive decorative piece from a well respected French artist.
