Vintage retake in the taste of the 18th century.  If you like the look of old paintings but not the problems often associated with them, then this one might be for you!  It's a nicely painted late 18th century man in a traditional green Redingote.  Painted on wood and in an almost perfect frame the entire piece presents very well.  A dark background highlights the face of a man with green eyes and a slightly furrowed brow.

Condition: Both the painting and the frame are in very good condition.  The frame has some imperfections and signs of wear.  The whole comes together very well and makes a super atmospheric painting....
