French vintage still life oil painting on cardboard by Paul Weiss (1896-1961), signed in the bottom left corner. Very pretty still life in its original frame. A light interesting background with movement sets off this still life painting. The artist has added interesting hues to the composition, in particular the red juice in the glass which forms the centre piece as it is where your eye is first drawn. It's beautifully painted on thick card which is pasted onto a backing board
