Early 20th Century oil portrait by French artist, P. Wagner-Robier.  A portrait of a young man or boy in a striped top.  This jewel of a portrait is undeniably incredibly attractive and well painted.  It's an oil on wood board.  The subject looks out from the dark board, directly into the artist's gaze.  He has an oval face and curly hair and wears a dark brown jacket with a blue and white horizontally striped top.  It's delightfully traditional French school and as he looks a little forlorn, I wonder if this young man is soon off to start his French naval career...
