Large vintage oil on canvas painting by Spanish artist Sophie Roberty de la Cerda (1900-1975), signed in the lower left corner and found in France.  This is a stunning landscape painting of a tree lined lake with bold reflections in the calm waters.  Here, the artist has concentrated on the reflective elements as well as the actual scenery.  The trees and shrubbery echo true to life colours in this luminous painting on a relatively smooth canvas.  Love the impression of a house and red clay roof reflected in the water. Condition: This painting is in very good stable vintage condition for its age.  Slight thinning of the canvas to the trees top right.  Certainly nothing onerous and would do well in a nice frame, although it is taped around the edges so nice and neat without a frame.
