This is a rare, stunning oil painting on stretched canvas of a woman in a landscape/beachscape coastal scene collecting what looks to be oysters in her basket.   She walks up the beach carrying two baskets filled with her sea harvest.  Look closely and you will see other women harveting from the oyster beds under a bright hazy sky with a backdrop that looks to be the Atlantic Ocean.

Condition:  This painting has not passed through time without scars.  It has been relined, it is in a vintage frame and there are some renovations most likely done at the same time as the relining.  Now, it is a visally stunning piece in very good condition and would look stunning in a coastal setting or in a bathroom.
