Figurative oil painting on board in a gold frame by French artist, Henriette Bellair (1904 - 1963).
Signed in the lower right corner. Unusual impressionist mid-century oil painting of a woman standing on steps leading to park land. She shields herself from the sun with a pink umbrella.  The board is textured to the touch.  A strong composition with good use of light to form shadows adding interest with a myriad of hues of green.
