Mellow muted impressionist antique French (Barbizon) school oil on canvas.  This wonderful old antique painting is quite special!  Natural pastel coloured hues and a vast array of greens give a wonderful calm atmospheric feel.  It's a classic French School composition in the Barbizon style with a difference.  There is a slight mixed texturing on the canvas especially in the fore, all in all it's quite beautiful.
