Antique still life of oranges, Cognac and a blue and white delft dish on canvas pasted on board in an old gilt frame of the same epoque.  This is a subtle beauty of a painting.  Your eye is drawn in by the bright oranges, of which is open and ready to eat.  Some white flowers lay next to the bottle of Cognac which glows deep green and is then flanked by the delftware lidded pottery.  The whole comes together very nicely in a traditional painting.  the canvas has some texturing to the touch. This painting would look good in a room with other blue and white china.
