Unusual oil painting on wood board of a woman in a garden reading by French artist Camille Lesne, signed in the lower right corner and mounted in a vintage frame. Pointalism was a movement mainly driven by the famous artists, Georges-Pierre Seurat and Paul Signac. and they would have heavily influenced this artist. Tiny, imaginative brushstrokes fill this wood board to give us an interesting picture of a woman in a garden. The board is slightly textured, but not overly so, to give an animated and believable piece of art.
