Vintage nude mid-century oil painting on canvas signed 'Georges Duc' a pseudonym used by Georges-Pierre Guingault (1893-1983). This calming and sensual painting is incredibly attractive. A nude lies on a bed, her form depicted by layers from a neutral but effective palette. The neutral hues are second to none on a smooth to the touch canvas and the whole fits nicely in its original Montparnasse frame, echoing the brown shades of the painting, tones which would fit in any bedroom or bathroom.
